Our Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
Jo has worked in local government for over 30 years, in roles on the front line in housing to CIO roles in ICT. Having worked in such a varied roles and looking after housing estates in Camden, Jo looks to merge her passions in her current job and be a bridge between business and tech. She admits she is no techy but in her time has picked up enough IT jargon to write a book.
Jo joined STS in November in 2019 with the incentive of saving money within local government: “It sounds cliché but if we pull together and we’re smart, we can do it.”
Lockdown rules permitting, Jo loves to go on holiday to a place she won’t reveal the name of as she says it’s getting too popular. It feels like a second home to her.
Within Jo’s team sits Procurement, Project Management & Business Relationship Managers, who support each Partner Council.
Kevin Ginn - Head of Operations
Kevin started working for Brent council as a contractor around the turn of the millennium and has managed to stay here ever since! He joined the full-time staff in 2013 as the Datacentre Team Leader and held that post when the shared service came into being in 2016. In 2018, he became Infrastructure Manager with responsibility for all of the Infrastructure teams and then in 2020, became the Head of Operations. He has worked in IT since leaving school which is actually before a lot of people in the current STS structure were even born – yes, he is that old! He’s a fan of all sports (A Hammers fan through and through) but is also manic about all things fitness related and anything to do with chocolate.
Kevin oversees the Operations team as line manager to the Infrastructure Manager & IT Service Desk Manager, who in turn manage their own teams, as seen below.
Tim Green, Head of Strategy & Technology
Tim joined in March 2020 to drive the development of the technology strategy, roadmap and Target Operating Model STS. He has previously worked in Retail, Telecoms, Central & Local Government and the charity sector. His interests outside of work closely mirrors his role in STS, as he has always had a keen interest in consumer and digital technology.
Tim’s team is new as part of our restructure and he heads up four teams, namely Security (the IT kind, not bouncers !!), Architecture (which includes Change & Problem management), Service Design & Finance.
